Krista Mayfield is a native Floridian, who was born in Daytona Beach and moved to West Palm Beach in 1988. She received her Bachelor of Science in International Business in 1992, graduated from law school and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1995. During her 27 year tenure as a litigation and trial attorney, Ms. Mayfield was a shareholder and officer from 2008 to 2022 at Anderson, Mayfield, Hagan & Thron, PA. She has been designated an “AV” rating, which is the highest rating awarded for legal ability and ethical standards by her colleagues and peers in the field of law. Ms. Mayfield has been a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator since 2012 and became a Qualified Arbitrator in 2019.
Ms. Mayfield is a member of the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida. She is also a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, Trial and Alternative Dispute Sections, and is an Emeritus Member of the Craig S. Barnard Chapter of Inns of Court. She previously served for three years on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee, 15G, in Palm Beach County, presiding as Chairperson for one year.
After many years advocating for her clients, Ms. Mayfield now provides full-time mediation and arbitration services, offering 25+ years of litigation and trial experience in various civil matters, including but not limited to: premises liability (residential and commercial); slip and fall incidents; auto accidents; products liability (including food, drug, and toxic exposure); contract disputes; landlord/tenant issues; commercial transactions; first party insurance claims; and subrogation issues. All services are offered at a competitive hourly rate for parties who seek assistance with alternative dispute resolution before or after a lawsuit is filed.
